Loganberry - Rubus × loganobaccus - €7 per plant
The Loganberry has quite an interesting history in that relatively speaking, it is quite a modern variety of fruit, resulting from an accidental cross between a raspberry and a blackberry! Named after the horticulturist who first created it, James Logan, the berries of the Loganberry are delicious, especially when allowed to fully darken. The fruit is a little more tart or sour than a raspberry, but is also very high in vitamin C. Loganberry is more sturdy and disease and frost resistant than many other berry hybrids, and can tolerate a large range of soil types. To order this plant please contact us. [email protected].
