White Spruce - Picea glauca  -  €14 per 3rd yr sapling 

A large, coniferous evergreen tree with beautiful greeny blue needles, which grows best in moist, well-drained soils in full sun.  It was widely used by Northern native American tribes in herbalism, especially for chest complaints.  A fairly wind resistant tree, it can be grown as part of a shelter belt planting scheme, but will also succeed as part of a woodland garden canopy.  White spruce is extremely hardy to low temperatures and can live for several hundred years. To order now contact us via email -  [email protected].

  • The plant can tolerates strong winds but not maritime exposure.
